Hello everyone,
It’s with huge excitement I share this Contingent Newsletter with you, as we prepare for the 26th World Scout Jamboree in Gdańsk, 2027.
Since the selection process wrapped up, and you confirmed your place in the Contingent, there’s been an incredible buzz and I want to extend a massive thank you to each and every one of you for taking on this amazing journey! Whether you’re a young Scout looking forward to your first Jamboree or an adult volunteer returning for more, your enthusiasm is the reason this is going to be an unforgettable experience.
This newsletter is the first of many to come. Our goal is to keep you fully in the loop as we work behind the scenes to make this the best Contingent experience possible. In this first edition, we’ll introduce the team working with me, highlight some key dates for your diary, and share some of the progress we’ve already made.
I’ve loved getting to meet some of you at Scouting events over the Summer and can’t wait to get to know more of you over the next 2 years. We have a lot of hard work ahead of us, but more importantly, we have an incredible adventure to look forward to. I can’t wait to share it with you all!
